The first volume of medicine songs, adapted for Native American flute, produced by Flauta Nativa Ashar , was thought to stimulate the learning of rhythmic and melodic structures to develop spontaneous play with the Native American flute, in this perspective we chose apparently simple songs that are easy to start and others more elaborate.
We know that at some point we feel limited in patterns, styles, phrases and techniques that can be difficult to break. And playing a written song, we learn different fingering patterns, various tempos, rhythm and phrasing. This experience can hone your creative improvisational skills, putting more song-making techniques at your disposal.
