The Shiva Flute, has the Double Harmonic Major scale, also known as Hitzazkiar (Hijazskiar), in India it is the Bhairav scale in the North and Melakarta in the South (Carnatic music). With this powerful mystical scale ready on the flute, it's much easier to learn to play and create melodies with a deep and dramatic sound. Enter the transcendental atmosphere of the ancient music of the Orient and let your imagination flow through wonderful soundscapes.
The advantage of the Shiva Flute is that it is easy to blow because it does not require a special embouchure, just blow and practice typing to create beautiful improvisations!
The double harmonic scale features radial symmetry or symmetry around its root or central note. This scale (and its modes as the Hungarian minor scale) is the only seven-note scale (in equal temperament to 12 tones) that is perfectly balanced ; this means that when your pitches are represented as points on a circle (the full circumference of which represents an octave), your average position (or “center of mass”) is the center of the circle.
