In the universe of flutes, when we refer to the name Native Flute, we are referring to a specific style of flute developed in North America, whose current characteristics were only standardized in the second half of the twentieth century. Its main characteristic that differentiates it from other Native American flutes such as the Hopi and Anasazi flutes is the fact that it has two chambers (slow air chamber and sound chamber) whose air passage from one to the other occurs through a block on a table creating a tunnel for the fipple (whistle/chimney). This characteristic offers a soft sound sensitive to breath variations, in addition to facilitating the production of sounds, as in the recorder.

What definitively marked the Native American flute in its magic, with an unmistakable musical style, was the standardization of the minor pentatonic scale. This mysterious and simple scale reminds us of deep emotions and nature and was already used by other very ancient peoples. What we can say is that words will not be enough to explain what you will feel when you play your native flute. I felt magic and beauty, vibration of peace and love in the universe; our mission is to share this magic with you.

The main virtue of the native flute is its ease of learning, making musical initiation accessible even to those who have never played before. It awakens dormant musicality and becomes a powerful ally in meditation, breathing, and therapy practices.

With simple and intuitive learning, the native flute paves the way for anyone to rediscover their inner musicality, becoming a valuable companion in moments of meditation, conscious breathing, and healing.
