The Ground Series Native Flute is part of our exclusive Flauta Nativa Ashar Native Flute (Native American Flute) collection. It is a medium and advanced level flute and can be produced with 5 or 6 holes for musical notes that reproduce the minor pentatonic scale. The flute has a whistle and the air is directed to the whistle by an animal-shaped block that represents the spirit of the flute.
We produce the Nativa Ground Series flute in 4 tunings that cover the bass / medium range. Being B Bass (SI3) the smallest flute, A (LA3), G (SOL3) being G the largest flute in length and tonality.
The bamboo selected for these flutes is of high acoustic quality, with thick thickness. The bamboos are dried in the shade for at least 6 months, treated and sealed to withstand the weather and variations in humidity, temperature and antifungal protection.
All Ground Series flutes have a wooden front mouthpiece and a side mouthpiece as a second option to play the flute transversally and thus facilitate the closing of the holes.
The NAF Ground Series has 4 types of finish that define the available models, a natural finish that highlights the raw material, the Black flute with paint and varnishes in black walnut colors, the Bison flute that is painted with a Bison totem and the Shamanic flute which receives mahogany paint and varnish interspersed with the natural tone of bamboo. Over the painting, 3 layers of clarified Indian shellac natural varnish are applied, which leave the flutes with a shiny finish.
In this series, the shamanic flute B bass is only produced in this tuning, in the other flutes of the Ground Series you choose the tuning and other customizations on the flute page. We don't produce in quantity, we create the flute for YOU , with full attention to sound quality.
