For the “two legs” (humans) that have the tiger as an “animal of power” (instinctual aspect of the soul or INSTINCTIVE SELF), the “Archetype of the Tiger”, its powerful claws, its strong and impressive musculature, can present itself , symbolically, as a powerful burst of energy. These individuals have an incredible reservoir of energy that is often kept hidden, but that appears at times when it is really needed. When circumstances justify the launch of this spring, or when the “tiger soul” faces a problem, crisis or challenge with a focused intensity that can only be equated with a tiger jump.
When very young, the “tiger soul” learns to contain such instinctive power. This contained energy can present itself as an intense look and calmly studious behavior that can intimidate others, as if the tiger's eyes were able to search your soul.
Such intensity can drive people away, or it may appear that the “tiger soul” is distant and disinterested. Nothing can be further from the truth. However, although it may seem insensitive or individualistic, these are the souls who wish to experience all the intricacies of life and adventure, but it is only when they mature and gain confidence in themselves that their most exuberant side emerges.
